‘Sol e Alma’, Sun and Soul, return to the Paris Cat in 2023 to perform Choro from the heart of the Brazilian lands. Since 2016 Sol e Alma have performed in iconic venues around Melbourne and also at the Port Fairy and Castlemaine Jazz Festivals, performing the Classic Choro from Chiquinha Gonzaga and Pixinguinha to the modern, Hermeto Pascoal, Toninho Ferragutti and Pedro Paes, to original compositions. Brazilian Choro invokes nostalgia, fun, energy and drive and captures and celebrates the essence of the Brazilian heart and Soul.
