New York based Australian vocalist Chantal Mitvalsky has been making waves as a solo artist, recording artist and backing vocalist for 15 years. She is best known for her work with bands as diverse as Jackson Jackson, The Meltdown, and Cannonball, and is currently lead vocalist with New York based funk band ‘Snack Cat’ who recently released a self-titled EP on Ropeadope Records and toured the North-East of the U.S.A.

Chantal has returned to Melbourne and will be performing music from her 2016 debut album ‘Owe Someone,’ produced by jazz pianist, Aaron Choulai. The project, SKYCHA is genre-blending exploration of past, present and future that explores a rich mix of soul, contemporary r&b with traditional jazz instrumentation and harmonies.

She will be joined by some of Melbourne’s elite including Darrin Archer (Piano), Kumar Shome (Guitar) Mick Meagher (electric bass) and Hugh Harvey (Drums).
