Due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19, Triple R has made the decision to cancel all Live To Air performances until further notice. Unfortunately, this means that both our shows with Cedric Burnside and Sarah Mary Chadwick will not be going ahead. It’s a shame, but it’s important that we limit the number of people coming into the building to maximise the health and safety of our broadcast volunteers and to prioritise the broader community's health. We hope you’re all doing well out there! Lots of love, Triple R.
Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sarah Mary Chadwick will be performing tracks from her Triple R Album of the Week ‘Please Daddy’ on Wednesday March 25 from 6.25pm, during Out on the Patio with Monique Sebire.
The album, her sixth studio release, reflects on grief, religious symbolism and psychoanalysis. Her songs are carried by a newfound buoyancy in the arrangements, along with her signature wry humour. The record never wallows in its sombre themes, rather teaching us that there is meaning to be found amongst the existentialism of modern life.
Triple R subscribers can enter via the website by 12pm Thursday March 25th for the chance to be part of the audience. Please note: You must have a current annual Triple R subscription to be eligible for giveaways. Entry is via 3RRR guestlist only. Winners will be notified via email.
Triple R acknowledges the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation, the traditional custodians of the land on which we operate today and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Accessibility: The Triple R Performance Space is wheelchair accessible and can be accessed via a lift located at the front of the building (Nicholson St entrance) Please feel free to contact the station during office hours on +61 3 9388 1027 if you would like to discuss any special requirements.
