Sarah will be playing with her band The Big Fuss, which includes her two favourite guitarists, Shannon Bourne (Checkerboard Lounge,  Don Walker) and Leigh Ivin (The Re-mains, Inga Liljeström) as well as her spectacular singing songwriter sons, Fenn Wilson and George Carroll Wilson (aka Pollyman) on drums, bass and harmony vocals!

Sarah Carroll, The Ukulele Queen Of The Bellarine, has had a big year! Following the release of her 6th studio album, NQR&B, on Cheersquad Records, she and her 4 piece band The Big Fuss toured Victoria and NSW, with keen interest and support from radio and print media. Sarah was invited to open for Tim Rogers on his regional Vic tour in December, and in between, launched a new album with her band The Cartridge Family.

Her latest album features contributions from her favourite rhythm section Fenn and George, longtime collaborators and guitarists Leigh Ivin (of the Re-mains, and producer of Sarah’s last big project, Star Parade), Jasper Jolley, who recorded the album, and Shannon Bourne, as well as Shannon’s fellow member of Checkerboard Lounge, Tim Neal on keys and clarinet, and singer-songwriter and close friend Jackie Marshall, who duets with Sarah on the album’s new single and video “The Way We Talk”.

The release of NQR&B follows Sarah’s stint last month as Australian Musician’s Musician of the Month and coincides with a a lengthy feature in the new issue of Rhythms. NQR&B was 3PBS FM Feature Album of the Week and part of 3RRR’s Soundscape during July.

The support for the night features  ‘The Faraway Three’ starring Nicky Del Rey, Alyce Platt and Jack Howard.
