A multi-instrumentalist and guitar maestro, ROD GEAR is also a composer, performer and recording artist of over three decades. Through an initial affinity with jazz, Rod chose a formal musical route through the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in Melbourne. From there he worked in the jazz scene with accomplished musicians including David Hischfelder and Al Martino, and even managed a season with the Moscow Circus on ice - performing in the Village Square across from Sandringham Station, Melbourne Bayside (58 Station St, Sandringham, Vic, 3191)
