Hailing from Melbourne's inner west, the irreverent Sad State of Affairs is a three piece folk rock outfit that mixes irony and catharsis with the driving baselines of Charlie Manuell, sad boy coffee housing of Aaron Rowan-Bell, and grooves of Nick Buissink. Performing tracks from the 2020 EP "Are You Listening Dave" they asking the hard hitting questions no one needed to ask or ever wanted an answer to while they procrastinate their way towards their first official release as a band mid 2024.

Bradlee Jay spent decades switching between metal drums & alternative rock vocals. What never faded was his appetite for writing acoustic songs with a focus on lyricism. Lately, he's been merging all his influences together while writing & recording a new EP. This will be a solo taste of where these tracks are heading.
