After a five-year hiatus, Movement 9 and Elly Poletti reunite for the return of their much-loved show WE MAY NEVER MEET AGAIN: THE MUSIC OF AMY WINEHOUSE. Featuring the soul-drenched voice of Elly Poletti backed by an electrifying lineup of horns and rhythm section, this project returns to its original home, Paris Cat Jazz Club, where it enjoyed a run of 20 sold-out performances throughout 2014-2016.

WE MAY NEVER MEET AGAIN pays tribute to Amy Winehouse's lifelong love of jazz, transporting her music from the radio to the the smoky clubs where her idols used to play. Hear Winehouse’s most powerful songs in a new light with unique arrangements by musical director Joe McEvilly which “explore, reimagine, and create a different nuance to Amy Winehouse's songs… incredibly well” (Canberra Times)

Featuring songs including: Back to Black, Valerie,What Is It About Men, You Know I’m No Good, Tears Dry On Their Own, In My Bed, Rehab, and many more.

“Halfway through the first number I start to feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up… Absolutely brilliant.”

– Peter Spicer, Canberra Times
