The Roadhouse romeos will be bringing their special brand of Country style Rocking Rhythm and
Roots music to the Drunken Poet on Saturday July 30th.

The band was formed over 15 years ago by veteran vintage guitar player Peter Baylor to highlight his original take on the roots styles he’s been associated with for over forty years .

From Western Swing, Rockabilly , Country and swinging jazz Peter has played and toured with some of Australia’s and America’s finest acts. Joining him is the legendary Rick Dempster on Steel guitar and Harmonica . The two have been playing together since the early 80’s and bring years of shared knowledge and experience to the music as few can match.

In the rhythm section is the powerful Jono Brown on double bass and our very special guest Jack O’Dell on drums. Jack has just landed in Melbourne to make it his new home after making a name for himself in the US as Legendary guitarist Bill Kirchen’s drummer and right hand man for decades among many other career highlights .
