Audrey Powne is a name synonymous in both jazz and R&B circles with ingenuity and inventiveness. A stalwart of Melbourne’s burgeoning jazz/soul scene she is known for fronting alt. RnB outfit ‘Leisure Centre’ (F.K.A. The Do Yo Thangs) and genre defying synth-pop duo ‘Au Dré.’ Described as “..the very brilliant Audrey Powne” by legendary BBC radio DJ Gilles Peterson she is very much a name on the rise. 2020 saw the release of her debut solo recording “Bed I Made” named one of the best soul releases by Bandcamp Daily resulting and a live streamed from isolation performance for Boiler Room.
