Led by the unique musical vision of sax player Gen Kuner, this new group makes deeply emotive, slow-moving music which holds itself between a jazz & pop sensibility but enters neither world. It could speak of a folk tradition from the future. Of course, none of this makes any sense, not yet anyhow.

The Divide

A trio of longtime Melbourne colleagues just waiting for the right time to strike. In the no longer unusual format of guitar, drums & sax the trio have been developing a group dialogue performing their own compositions and some choice pieces from the outside world. All three members of this trio will be well known to the Melbourne jazz audience – here is another piece to the puzzle.
