R.em.edy – ‘High Again’ EP Launch at Shotkickers (Disability-Inclusive Event)
Join Melbourne-based artist R.em.edy for an unforgettable evening celebrating the release of her sophomore EP High Again. Known for her emotional vulnerability, raw lyricism, and fierce advocacy for artists with disabilities, R.em.edy invites you to an inclusive live show that brings to life the deeply personal world of High Again—a project exploring situationships, unrequited love, sexual liberation, and self-discovery.
Despite living with chronic illness and being an independent artist, R.em.edy and her band have performed all across the country, from Illy’s national tour to major festivals like BIGSOUND and St Kilda Festival. Blending R&B, Soul, Jazz and Hip-Hop, R.em.edy brings an emotionally charged sound to every stage. Her breakout single I’m Fine—an anthem for mental health and BPD surpassing over 180,000 streams and counting.
Opening the night is Grace Chia, a genre-bending artist from lutruwita/Tasmania who fuses spoken word, hip-hop and soulful R&B to amplify marginalised voices and challenge the status quo. With razor-sharp lyricism and raw emotional delivery, Grace’s performances are both thought-provoking and deeply moving. She’s made her mark on national stages like DARK MOFO, MONA FOMA, Festival of Voices, and Pangea Festival, and recently played her first international show in New Zealand, supporting Deca (US) and Sunz (NZ). Her debut album Marsapollo earned her a National Live Music Award nomination, a Live Your Dream Grant, and a place on The Push’s 25 under 25 'Best Emerging Artists’ list.
