Puttin' on the Spritz are inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt's Quintette du Hot Club de France, Benny Goodman, and Continental jazz from the 40's and 50's. Featuring Andre Vikas on clarinet and Stephen Stanisic on guitar, both musicians also play in Melbourne's Eastern European folk troupe Babaganoush. Melodies from their Greek and Balkan heritages will also bubble to the surface of this refreshingly effervescent musical duo.
