PSI PHI (“sci-fi”), features Sam Cope (Blue King Brown, Buttered Loaf, The Badloves) on Hammond/keyboards/vocals, Ryan Monro (The Cat Empire, The Meltdown) on bass, Kumar Shome (The Punkawallahs, Mad Vantage, Ajax Kwai) on guitar and Will Hull-Brown (The Cat Empire) on drums. They blend a selection of covers with a growing repertoire of originals, drawing inspiration from the gods and monsters of 70s-era prog and classic rock as well as more modern incarnations, with an appropriate level of musical virtuosity and intensity. Fabulous Contraption are a living, breathing machine constructed from modern jazz, experimental metal and progressive rock. Their music moves from slick and streamlined to primordial chaos,from calmly hypnotic grooves to frenetic punk chaos. You’ll hear soaring solos, open-structured improvisations, intricate synthesiser and guitar lines, dirty grooves, and all manner of metric mayhem.

Heavy post rock savages Skin Thief are an instrumental three piece that play both brooding atmospheric passages and crushing, hypnotic and pummelling riffs and grooves. Tonally the band shifts between stoner, doom and post metal styles and always bring a high energy performance.
