Peter and Jimmy Cupples are teaming up for a one-off show at MEMO on Sunday the 20th October. Backed by the fabulous King Canyon. It will be known as “A Family Reunion”

Peter Cupples, once lead singer and songwriter of iconic Australia band STYLUS who were also and international recording band with Motown. Peter has endured 5 decades of writing and recording original material and continues to reinvent himself along the way. He is regarded as one of Australia’s most prolific Singer/Songwriters and entertainers.

Singer / songwriter Jimmy Cupples (Peter’s cousin) is well known for his big vocal range. Jimmy was a finalist on the T.V show “The Voice”, hitting the stage with Wolfmother’s “Woman”

In 2020 he formed his own band KING CANYON along with fellow songwriter and acclaimed guitarist James Ryan. They recently toured Australia as “Zeppelin Unledded” to much acclaim. KING CANYON has just released their new single, the guitar driven “Run Rabbit Run” recorded by Grammy Award winning Producer Nick DiDia.

Family gens are a fascinating thing, Jimmy like Peter grew up in a house full of music, and like Peter both parents played and sang, so it was inevitable that it would be passed on to Jimmy and Peter, their children are all musical and in Peter’s case his grandchildren are as well. Its not the first time Jimmy and Peter have sung together and when they have it’s be incredible, “We have an understanding and very deep respect for each others abilities, and what the other is capable of doing, our voices blend beautifully together…”
