It was the inevitable choice to ask Pat McKernan, Melbourne's most loved Irish musician, to entertain us the night before Paddy's Day. A native of Belturbet, Co. Cavan, only Pat could surely do justice to a tribute to Christy Moore/Planxty. Christy Moore was a founding member of Planxty in 1972 with Andy Irvine, Donal Lunny and Liam O'Flynn.
