Ojikae and Aybner are putting on a show to showcase the music they’ve been working on since Covid.

Ojikae and Aybner are playing two live sets full of new material, both backed by their new bands. Christian Dean will be DJ'ing in between sets, and Detsi will be the support act on the night!

Calling all witches, werewolves, ghosts and ghouls...

MERGE hath returned, and this time, we are turning up the heat, lighting our cauldrons and mounting our brooms for a bewitching special Halloween edition of FREAKQUENCY.

Trick or treat yourself to a spooktacular lineup full of local unearthly delights, as MFA, Tritium, Baby G, MARSH LONG, Stev Zar, DJ Netburner, Kaysteng and Omega3 each brew up concoctions of frights and delights behind the decks.

We encourage all guests to don a disguise (if they dare) and dress to impress in their most garish and grotesque get-ups, the more gore the more grand!

So why not tempt yourself? We can assure you, this night will lift your spirits like no other!

FREAKQUENCY aims to provide a safe and inclusive dancefloor that encourages people to express themselves, and where female and GNC talents are celebrated and championed.

There is a strict zero-tolerance policy towards racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, ableism or harassment of any kind. Please report any unwelcome behaviour to staff or event organisers. There may be strobe lights used in the performance.

We live, work and play on land that was forcibly taken from Aboriginal people. There has been no Treaty with the First Nations of this place and the effects of colonisation continue to this day. We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, on whose land this event will take place. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded.

MERGE would like to offer free entry for all First Nations peoples. Please get in touch via the below email if you would like to attend!
