Community event this weekend at Catalyst Social Centre.

Organised by Old Country Calling, they are putting on a Nukes-Free conference on Feb 1st and 2nd. It will be a deep dive into all things nuclear resistance. It is knowledge exchange and movement building for a nuke-free future. The weekend will include workshops/discussions led by a range of people involved in the anti-nuclear movement, with films, food, music, exhibits and more.

This friday 31st there will also be a fundraiser at Catalyst to assist transport for Aboriginal elders coming to the conference. It goes from 5pm-midnight with dinner, poets, bands and general good cheer.
