Melbourne based singer-songwriter NJ Rijs weaves lyrics and rhythms to create his own sound of contemporary folk-pop and country blues. Originally from Tatura, Victoria, Rijs has been recording and releasing music since 2018, with his first EP to be launched in late 2023. Through his expression of rural Australia and gained experiences, Rijs plays genial ballads and folk melodies of a nature both warm and dusty.
