'New Exchange' has been cultivating its music for the last three years, developing an exciting and entertaining approach to jazz. All recent graduates of the James Morrison Academy, the band has performed alongside Mr Morrison and other Australian jazz icons on many occasions, including at the Sydney Opera House. The ensemble’s repertoire consists of earthy grooves, hard-swinging jazz standards and unique original compositions.

The trio will be joined by special guest Tony Gould on piano.

Tony Gould AM is an Australian jazz musician, pianist, composer and educator. Gould's many recordings and performances reveal his harmonic view of music and his love of music from both African-American and European jazz traditions, as well as the classical works of Bach, Mahler, Stravinsky and Messiaen.
