Get down to the Retreat on the 20th of April for a night of (free!) unadulterated fun, filled with cheap booze and great tunes. Joining Musgrove Mews is the uber talented songwriting duo Mazzei + Gigi and eclectic five-piece Cupid in Denim (playing their first show! )

Musgrove Mews is a Melbourne based ‘power’ trio who fuse elements of blues, rock and indie-pop into an eclectic mix of songs and genres. The singing is always angelic, the drumming is always on point, the bass playing is always thumping and the guitar solos are always boring. But either way their shows are always a blast.

Mazzei + Gigi is the collaborative project between guitarist Nick Mazzei and singer/songwriter Gigi Hoyle. Backed by their eclectic supporting band, the two explore themes of growing up through their blend of groovy bedroom pop and hard hitting indie rock.

Cupid in Denim is a brand new project started by five friends at Uni. The group employs hard-hitting melodies, devastating lyrics, tasteful keys, a groovy rhythm section and luscious harmonies which culminates in an eclectic body of work. This will be CiD's first gig as a group and is not to be missed!
