Radio Free Alice give everything on stage. They are one of Australia's most exciting up and coming young bands, at the vanguard of a new wave of clever, high energy guitar rock music. Radio Free Alice's angular sound feels fresh and immediate, whilst reminding fans of classic post punk /garage pop-rock (like Talking Heads, The Cure, The Smiths and The Sunny Boys, as well as contemporary rock stars like Parquet Courts, Ought and The Strokes). Guitars with clean tones and clever notes, melodic bass lines, urgent drumbeats, the occasional sax, and an operatic swagger that could have been honed in a New York art school rather than in the land of Oz . With members from Sydney and Melbourne (the band's home base), Radio Free Alice have already played their own sell out shows, and supported Johnny Hunter, The Reytons and The Melodrones. Their latest single "Paris Is Gone" is getting rave reviews and the new track, "Look What You've Done" is out May31st.
