After building a strong reputation through headline shows and festival appearances over the last two years, Melbourne-based indie rock band will hit the Tote April 21st for a free-entry Sunday arvo set.

Combining the tenderness of Big Thief with the sizzling on-stage dynamic of Fleetwood Mac, Mood Spill are quickly becoming one of Australia’s most exciting indie rock acts. Hailing from Melbourne’s inner north, the band presents audiences with an impressive display of multi-instrumentalist talent and refreshingly authentic songwriting.

Following the release of singles Until You’re Gone and Breakdown, Mood Spill have built a strong reputation with audiences through multiple sold out headline shows (including a sold-out night at Fitzroy’s iconic Old Bar) and festival appearances including Winter Magic Festival in NSW, Wonder Mountain Music Festival in VIC and a main stage slot at Queenscliff Music Festival, VIC).

Mood Spill’s five members – Tom Riccioni, Bailey Brown, Georgia-Grace Buckingham, Adrian Verna and Oli Morley-Sattler – share songwriting duties, and regularly swap instruments from track-to-track, all contributing to a catalogue of tracks that confidently teeter between radically tender and electrically high octane.

Supporting Mood Spill is ethereal indie-folk singer-songwriter Renee Spijker.
