The Workers Club presents Monty. 18th of October. What to expect? A blend of heavy alternative and mellow psychedlic rock. Inspired by classic Aussie acts like Silverchair and Tame Impala. Each song has its own unique vibe, and the energy of Monty is absolute all over the joint. It may be bleak, it may be groovy.
Taking the stage at 8:30pm is Skamp Vera. They’re a four-piece Australian, grungy garage rock band with a few surfy tones from the south east suburbs of Melbourne. Just a group of chill outdoorsy blokes who love to make loud noises.
Getting the night started at 7:30pm is Huskees. A four-piece from the south suburbs of Naarm/Melbourne. Mixing surf rock with punk and 90s alt rock, they conjure up tasty tunes about navigating life, love and the mess inside our heads.
