After many months in the making, the long-awaited follow-up from MISSING NIN’s debut EP, WALK A MILE, has finally surfaced in the form of “themissingfiles” EP. Complete with cuts, samples, and a whole lot of distortion, “themissingfiles” illustrates the degree of grittiness that helps construct MISSING NIN’s bold aesthetic. A bunch of large beats fused in with contrasting styles of writing, shifting between in-your-face to in-your-feels lyrics; help turn this 5-track EP into one complete and intense listen.
Accompanying angst-riddled content with a charismatic persona, the masked character of MISSING NIN is launching his new EP, “themissingfiles”, at The Workers Club on the 30th of March with a matinee performance. Teaming up with the likes of Realname, NOTAXI, and Yung Midge, this event is putting some of Melbourne’s best alternative hip-hop artists on show - so come down, support the scene, and get amongst what plans to be an absolute ripper day of music.
The start of the pub footy season is on the horizon and what better way to celebrate than with a fundraiser for the beloved Workers Club Lions F.C.
Loose change and hard earned bills will get you raffle tickets for the chance to win great prizes on the night (Detials to come). There will also be a range of new, socially conscious merch available for purchase.
Team affiliated bands and DJs will be taking to the stage so gather your pride and come down early and stay out late for a night of rowdy festivities!
Be sure to bring your yarns of flying speccys and barreling torps and join us in kicking off what is sure to be the best year of Renegade footy yet. All are welcome and we’d especially love to see your smiling face.
