Mingus Thingus has been performing together around Melbourne for just over five years, playing at many of the fantastic venues and clubs around Melbourne. The band recorded a live album at the Paris Cat Jazz Club, one of the band’s favourite venues and greatest support. Come and hear a variety of Charles Mingus’ most popular and eclectic compositions, played by some of Melbourne’s most fantastic musicians who bring a unique touch each song. Featuring arrangements by band leader and baritone saxophonist Nick McCusker, this launch is bound to be a night of fun and exciting twists and turns through some truly amazing music!
