Visiting from her second home of New York City, dynamic vocalist, composer and arranger Mim Crellin presents music with Danish guitarist Morten Duun from their co-written EP, ‘Only A Setting Sun’, officially out in the world later this year. The EP is a modular collection of songs written or arranged by the pair, reflecting on the world’s recent upheavals and their impact on family, friendships, and community-building.

To bring this music to life in a live context, Mim and Morten will once again appear at the Jazz Lab with Flora Carbo on alto & clarinet, Kyrie Anderson on drums, and Sam Anning on bass. This time the band will also be joined by special guest Brandon Choi (NY) on trumpet.
