Mick Daley is a gonzo journalist and punk rock/singer-songwriter. He’s been writing fringe stories and whacked out songs that are are cherished in Australia and internationally. Mick's songs have been recorded by Toni Swain, Leah Flanagan,

With a bio in music that reads like a chapter of "He Died with a Felafel In His Hand", Mick's played nude folk-rock with the Navigators (Woodford Folk Fest, Byron Bay Arts & Music Fest), avant-garde punk rock with Bush Punk Cowboys (shows with Toe to Toe, Dirty Three, Front End Loader and the The Scientists) and acid-soaked acoustic blues-rock with Jimmy Willing’s Ragadoll (gigs all over North Coast NSW to the feral generation, particularly at the Nimbin Mardi Grass). He's followed Rimbaud’s prescription for the true poet with a grand derangement of the senses.

As a freewheeling travel journalist Mick's covered dangerous hotspots around Europe, been teargassed and baton-charged in Genoa at the G8 conference, and witnessed the Mayday Riots in London 1999. Meanwhile he was gigging around the UK, Portugal and Germany, playing beer festivals and small venues for bugger all, writing songs and subsidizing it all by writing travel articles for lots of quids.

From 8pm on Thursday June 27th, Connell will present duets and an interview with Mick Daley (of the Re-Mains) and then Mick will play a short set on his own.
