Melbourne based jazz vocalist Michelle presents her original compositions alongside her favourite song discoveries all composed by women – including Abbey Lincoln, Bernice Petkere and Irene Higginbotham – spanning over 100 years of the great jazz tradition.

Wayfinders meets The Invisibles

An ongoing project conceived of by Melbourne drummer/composer Ronny Ferella. Wayfinders is a completely improvising trio that allows all of the player’s musical experiences to influence the music at hand. The Invisibles is the flip side of the same project, a trio that performs American jazz & roots repertoire in the most simplest fashion they can muster. In a way, the same thing is happening in both trios. This Jazzlab set will test the idea.
