The Lion City’s ‘King of Swing,’ prolific Singaporean pianist Jeremy Monteiro showcases the best of a nearly five-decade-long career.

With an impressive discography of 50 critically acclaimed albums, Jeremy Monteiro has performed alongside luminaries such as Simon & Garfunkel, Bobby McFerrin, Michael Brecker and Charlie Haden, as well as contributing to over 300 pop albums with stars across Asia.

Considered a trailblazer among his musical contemporaries, Monteiro put Singapore on the jazz-map when he became the first Southeast Asian musician to lead a band at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 1988, as well as making history as the first Southeast Asian musician to release an album on the renowned Verve record label.

Known for his spirited yet soulful vocals and tender, unrushed piano tempo, Monteiro has established himself as a truly influential figure on the international jazz scene. His impressive repertoire will be on full display in this one-night-only, heartwarming performance of original compositions and jazz standards.
