Malcura are an acoustic trio who’ve earned their stripes busking in Melbourne’s Bourke Street Mall. They have refined their sound and created a vibe that is a complex meld of Flamenco instrumentation and Latin rhythms with a rock’n’roll approach. Malcura are a workhorse of a live band with an impressive gig history under their belt including Illawarra Folk Festival (NSW), New Years Evie (VIC), Blue Mountains Music Festival (NSW), Byron Bay Guitar Festival (NSW), Wallaby Creek (QLD), Bendigo Blues and Roots and St. Kilda Festival (VIC). Not to mention they’ve performed alongside Tash Sultana, Pierce Brothers, Tijuana Cartel, Clowns, Kenta Hayashi (Japan); and Mexican guitar heroes Rodrigo y Gabriela on stage at the Palais Theatre, which was met with outstanding praise from gig goers. Their self-titled debut record launched at the Fed Square main stage in 2016, which was closely followed by two East-Coast tours and busking performances nationally in support of the record. Their music is as intricate and unpredictable as it is romantic and uplifting, making them one of Australia’s most unique and exhilarating live acts.

Labelled Punk/Reggae or “Slow Ska”, Dal Santo have spent two years on a whirlwind of change and adventure. The band released their debut album “Dal Santo” in 2016 to critical acclaim with rotation on Triple J. What followed this was an unexpected line-up change and a vivid journey of self-discovery. Recruiting a new drumming powerhouse and writing a catalogue of new songs, they finally arrived at their destination. Playing with a range of supports and surprises over 3 separate nights, Dal Santo are taking over the Gaso in Feb to present you their latest single, “Chevy Chase”.
