This 28th of Feb, 5 piece band lovesick dream will be bringing their unique blend of intimate and dreamy alt rock to Bar Open!

Their music is touching and personal, taking on a wide range of influences, from swirling dreamy grooves, haunting and touching ballads, to dirty, bluesy psychedelic tunes.

Joining them are: Melbourne 4 piece art rock outfit “Fire and Brimstone” whose unique sound prioritises musical experimentation and sonic exploration.

At the forefront of their sound are spoken word passages which draw audiences into a ritualistic experience, reminiscent of bands such as Black Midi and Sqūrl. AND… Gooey Drop, the slinky, swampy, sludge-filled trio whose bush and country origins bring a certain twang to their sound.

They blur the line between funk and rock, with trippy elements of psychedelia, whilst always trying to captivate audiences with wit, bouts of their own laughter, and a fresh brand of energetic absurdity.
