This performance brings together three of Australia’s finest improvised story tellers – Jamie Oehlers on saxophone, Paul Grabowsky on piano and Dave Beck on the drums. ‘Lost and Found’ were the winner of the 2009 Australian Jazz “Bell” Award for Best Contemporary Jazz Album, which captured their ‘something from nothing’ approach to creating music. Known best for weaving new music from an improvised thread, this group spontaneously creates compositions that sound as though they’ve been crafted over years, and that will leave embedded in your memory.
