Corrugated Psychedelia of the sub-tropical drone. Citizen Zane and Resident Raf cobble together a set of velvet/ velcro tones, over a faucet that just keeps on dripping...
Songwriter, singer performing under the name Light Magnetic, with Boris Sujdovic (The Scientists/Beasts of Bourbon) and Tim O’Shannessey on Drums (Paradise Motel, Penny Ikenger, Brian Hooper) The songs feature components of musical worlds collided, casting a light on aspects that have been magnetically drawing them together. The result is primal, ethereal, sometimes spacious... other times a swirling cacophony. Looking for the unseen things that connect us. The songs take your ears from the basement to the attic, from the misty swamps into fields of light. Visiting smokey lounge bars, journeying upon mysterious seas and following heartbeats into the unknown.
Sönke will kick start the night, attempting an improvisational duel between his Outer and his Inner Self, between Good and Evil, ,Light and Darkness, between Synth and Guitar, to embody the emotionally hyper charged phase 1 of WW3. He aims to put a positive spin on that rotting carcass called Reality using a combination of electricity and his unique mental powers calling upon the eternal energies emanating from the heavenly bodies that surround us all. This ritualistic performance may involve words, a robot gone nuts, and a Great Unknown. Don't be afraid. Be prepared. Expect the unexpected. Relax! -
