A band birthed from two things - a small group of teens who had a burning desire to play live music, and an awesome mullet, donned by the bassist, which has since been sadly shaved off.

Lapidatus (pronounced Lap-id-at-ess) is currently composed of 17-year old singer and guitarist Zane Blumeris, 17-year old bass-wielder Ryan Holloway and Gen-X drummer Craig Blumeris.

Originating from Melbourne, Australia, Zane and Ryan met during work experience at a music store. After cycling through drummers for the band, they eventually settled on the closest and best drummer they knew - Zane’s Dad.

All three band members share a dream of playing gigs and sharing their music with the world, which are two things that they’re working tirelessly to do. We hope you enjoy our music.
