Led by frontman Kumar Shome, the triple guitar band features some of Melbourne’s best, building hypnotic polyrhythmic layers. The band’s debut vinyl, “Kanya”, features a heady mix of soulful, contemplative songs and electrifying dance tunes that tell Shome’s personal story, with songs celebrating his Indian culture, his experiences growing up in Australia and his journey through Melbourne’s music scene.
