From high upon the upper room of The Bendigo Hotel, a dreadful and magnificent screech erupts and envelops all around in its piercing industrial shroud. Come bear witness to this noise and its adherents giving it human form:
Knife: Industrial metal stalwarts. They will provide a ferocious, pummelling onslaught of old-school Industrial metal, sure to bring an approving grimace to the face of any devotees of Godflesh, Nailbomb and Meathook Seed. Lumbering, crusty bass, stomping guitar riffs, feral vocal performance, all backed by filthy, mechanical machine drums; Knife will pierce all before them.
Serene Ailment: Oceans of relentless audible decay, littered with buoys of light. The long running power-electronics project of highly accomplished noise artist and multi-instrumentalist: Lulu Collard (Ashbel, Uboa, False Animal). Her relentless experimentation and devotion to her craft have built an intoxicating palette of noise that is all at once splittingly harsh, serenely melancholic, hypnotizing, rotting and unbearably anxious. Serene Ailment bypasses your conscious mind and shouts directly into your limbic system.
Fumigator: Emerging from behind the PVC tent for their first ever show, Fumigator will be playing dizzying industrial sludge/noise rock. Expect grime-coated riffs and frantic vocals set to desperate, clanging drums. For any and all fans of Chat Pile, KEN Mode and Crippling Alcoholism.
Saturday the 18th of October, Futuristic Rock band NO QUESTIONS and Alternative Rock band Vollie are bringing a jam-packed night of unforgettable music and untamed energy to Collingwood's own, Bendigo Hotel. Supported by the likes of high-energy Grunge band CASS AWARE and EMMA YUE.
Both NO QUESTIONS and Vollie are here to send a tremor through the Melbourne/Naarm live music scene with a Double Headline and Double Single Release.
NO QUESTIONS with their heartfelt, "Hazel Eyes" and Vollie's mind-provoking, "Wish I Was Dumb".
