Kiss of Reality was founded in Berlin, Germany in 1991 by David Pittaway. Robert Fripp brought his wife Toyah Wilcox to KoRs 2nd English performance and approached David after the show. Robert said "Very powerful energetic music and I think female vocals would balance that out, and my wife's interested"

Toyah soon after joined the band in 1992, moved into our small apartment in Berlin and put her amazing deeply poetic lyrics and vocals to the repertoire. KoR recorded there self titled album in 1993. KoR are currently touring performing as a 3 piece instrumental band that must be experienced, polyrhythmic with lots of odd meters that take you from industry progressive rock through to lush ambiants.
