King Con! is a celebration of comics, gaming, pop culture and cosplay – and the people who create and love them.

King Con! is a fun, immersive and inclusive FREE experience unlike any other. Don't miss your chance to be part of the celebration!

The King Con! extravaganza returns on Saturday 25 May, 2024 10am – 4pm at Cheltenham Library. Enjoy a day of special guests, games, food and fun exploring the world of comics and pop culture. Dress up as your favourite character and join the fun! All ages welcome.

We'll be welcoming back your favourites including special guests, cosplay competitions and parades, games, family activities, plus loads more. This year we will see the addition of an Artist Alley.

Special guests include author Jack Henseleit, YA author Lili Wilkinson, and comic book artist Dean Rankine. We’ll also have Mario Kart, Minecraft and VR session, plus Storytime and LEGO challenges.

This year we are providing an Artist Alley to allow (primarily local) artists an opportunity to showcase their artwork, gain exposure and sell their product to the public.

Artist Alley is for handmade and self- designed and produced art such as mixed media, comics, prints, pins, stickers, dice, costume pieces, and handcrafted products.
