Melbourne indie folk artist Amarina Waters celebrates the release of 'Kicking Around', the first track from her much anticipated debut album!

Amarina and band are joined by very special guests Eaglemont and Grand Pine, August 1 at The Old Bar

Kicking Around is a tongue in cheek anthem to human imperfection.

"Maybe if we hadn't slept together / this would be clearer and I would feel better/would my appetite wane or would my lips be wetter? / baby if we hadn't slept together"

Candidly considering a recent one night stand, the song contemplates the small decisions of life and their repercussions; the different directions we could take, and our anxiety around choosing a ‘right path’.

Due to drop in July, the track will be released alongside a clever, understated film clip by director Nick Mckk, (Julia Jacklin, Stella Donnelly, Jess Ribeiro) with an endearing cast of characters, including some familiar faces; Katies Wighton - All Our Exes Live In Texas, James Seymour - Fields, Loni Rae Thomson.
