Kennedy Snow is Melbourne drummer and composer Sonja Horbelt - come and catch the first gig of 2023 - playing brand new songs and some previews of the second album that is being mixed and mastered for a second half of the year release.This project is a fusion of original contemporary songs and improvisations derived from a background of jazz, R&B and neo-soul. With an ensemble of Nina Ferro (vocals), Steve Sedergreen (keys) Kim May (bass) and special guests Tim Wilson (sax) and Gillan Gregory (guitar), these works take you on a journey that explores lush and soulful melodies, driving grooves and emotionally connected lyrics that strike at the heart of fragility and strength of the human condition.
