Katie Bates has a heart steeped in the spirited Americana sound and long standing music tradition.

At twenty years old, Melbourne Americana singer-songwriter Katie Bates has already been performing live for over a decade. Obsessed and inspired by the music of the classic and alternative country artists from the 1960s and 70s, Katie began writing songs at the age of eleven, playing in bars shortly after.

Tonight she presents a night not to be missed, celebrating the great music that originates from the classic American Song Book.

Expect everything from Dolly Parton, Lukas Nelson, Linda Ronstadt to Emmylou Harris.
Katie has toured her own brand of country music all over Australia to very high acclaim. She is a young country artist on the rise and one to keep an eye out for.

Noria and her band “les Parigots” return with a beautiful night of Parisian street music, including a tribute to the great Edith Piaf.

It's a vibrant and fun trip to “la Ville des Lumières” without the jet-lag, showcasing the passion, vitality and style of one of the great epochs of modern music.

Noria brings you classics such as “La Vie en rose” and “Non, je ne regrette rien” along with some buried gems from Piaf’s songbook, as well as the music of the gypsy jazz masters that still light up Paris from the Champs-Élysées to the back streets of Belleville. There’s also a nod and wink at some marvellous modern chansons that are sure to become staples in the Great French Songbook.
