Mother’s Day is back at the Ballroom.

I’ve been presenting a mother’s day show on the JVG Radio Method on RRR for years. It’s my favourite show of the year. Back to back mothers singing songs about motherhood. The joys, the trials, the ecstasy and the mundanity. We have kids running around the studios. Big kids and little kids. Supporting partners and expanded families. It’s an afternoon of motherly energy and talent that happens only once a year. 

This year the radio show will once again precede a live extravaganza at the Brunswick Ballroom.  From RRR to the Ballroom, from one Brunswick institution to another. The whole shebang will relocate and crank it up. At 5:00 the Ballroom will open its doors and present 9 singing mothers singing the song they have just sung on the radio and much more.
