Beloved Thornbury born and bred, Jordie Lane, returns from Nashville with a bucket load of new songs and stories slated for his forthcoming 2026 album.

Performing 2 acoustic sets, Jordie will also play many of his trademark folk&roll classics.

Born to a comedian and a clown, Nashville-based, Melbourne born folk artist Jordie Lane, makes a triumphant return with his acclaimed album ‘Tropical Depression’. Debuting at No #1 on the ARIA Australian Country Chart, Lane will return to local stages after a series of sold out shows in 2024-25, and additions to many best-of lists and mainstage appearances at Australia’s Woodford and Port Fairy Folk festivals.

This new collection of songs and live show wanders near the intersection of Americana and 60s - inspired folk while sticking strong to his Roots storytelling crowd favourites such as ‘Black Diamond’ and ‘I Could Die Looking At You’. Packed with humour, wit and sharp social commentary, Tropical Depression tackles a broad range of topics, from facing extreme weather to Lane’s own mental health journey.

A seasoned road warrior, Jordie Lane has shared the stage with legendary acts like Billy Bragg, Gotye, Old Crow Medicine Show, The Moody Blues, Neko Case among others, and has found his place as one of Australia’s modern day storytelling greats.
