Jan Menu is one of Holland’s leading saxophonists. On his first trip to Australia, he is teaming up for a special jazz meeting session with one of Australia’s most renowned saxophonists, Julien Wilson.

Praised for his melodic playing, distinctive phrasing, harmonic insight, and strong musical personality, Menu performs on all saxophones, but in recent years has focused primarily on the baritone saxophone. He is now regarded as one of the leading players on the instrument, with a style that is remarkably light-footed, lyrical, and melodic.

For this exciting first-time collaboration, Menu and Wilson will be joined by Stephen Grant (piano), Yunior Terry (bass), and Danny Fischer (drums).
