Jake Amy is a Melbourne/Naarm-based session pianist, producer, audio engineer and social justice journalist. Jake has performed with an exciting array of Australian and international artists and is an active member of over 20 unique musical projects. Jake’s "Power Trio” is an infectious live band experience which presents listeners with an ever-evolving set of high energy grooves and extended improvised sections. Jake’s project has been awarded multiple grants, from Creative Victoria, Regional Arts Victoria, and The Piano Project, was chosen as a Performance Fellow for 2021’s Dots + Loops, has appeared on local radio such as RRR and PBS, and their track has received support by some of Australia’s favourite presenters such as Allysha Joy, Chris Gill and Ennio Styles
