Melbourne based acoustic pop singer-songwriter ISHAN is launching his debut EP - The Cycle of Codependence – on Saturday the 18th of November at The Bergy Bandroom.
The Cycle of Codependence is a five song EP that weaves a narrative through ISHAN’s tumultuous first relationship. The connected story is tied together by ISHAN's signature anecdotal style of writing that is just a touch too specific not to be real. Musically, the five songs showcase a blend of modern pop, indie acoustic singer-songwriter and pop rock.
Having become a staple of Melbourne’s famed busking circuit, this will be the first chance for many new fans to catch ISHAN’s full live performance. Armed with a microphone, guitar and loop pedal, he’s ready to put on one hell of a show.
Supporting ISHAN at his EP launch gig are Kaiyah Mercedes and Umbra Moon.
Kaiyah Mercedes is a 17yr old LGBTQI+ singer/songwriter who has already gained recognition for her deep and introspective music. Her lyrics are crafted with an intention to connect with listeners, touching on relatable themes such as young love, heartbreak, and the mental health struggles of today’s world.
Umbra Moon is an artist/producer based in Naarm (Melbourne). A gifted multi-instrumentalist, their live show features soulful original music and iconic pop sounds.
