Powerful, warm soulful vocals, matched by an incredible band, Isuela is a Melbourne/Naarm based singer/songwriter that has influences ranging from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Etta James to Anderson Paak and Amy Winehouse.

From soul to neo soul, blues and alternative RnB, Isuela and her band captivate their audience, through truthful songwriting, delectable groove and engaging stage presence.

Having been in the music industry for over 10 years in various bands, national tours and an array of awards and radio play Isuela was known as the front woman for blues/funk band ‘Blue Eyes Cry.’

Isuela has now begun releasing her original music, under her name, supported and co-written by an incredible band Stella Anning (Guitar/backing vocals), Charlie Rolfe (Keys, Synth) Alex Yeop (Bass) and David Ulucay (Drums). This year the group have released single and music video 'Why' in June, followed by their debut EP 'I Drink Alone' in July, which has seen support through radio and local media.

With sounds rooted in Soul, Blues and Jazz, Isuela are also known for their ‘Nola Special’ a New Orleans show which includes a repertoire of songs by New Orleans artists such as Jon Cleary, Walter Wolfman Washington and The Meters.
