Ingrid Saker is the lead guitarist, vocalist and songwriter of popular NZ blues rock band Ingrid and the Ministers. Drawing comparisons to Joan Jett and The White Stripes, Ingrid achieves a rare balance of vigorous raw emotion and humble greatness. Her solo act is a softer, expansive journey through her classic blues influences, highlighting her mastery of blues guitar and soulful vocals. 

Last year Ingrid and the Ministers released their sophomore album ‘Boofhead’, garnering praise from Rolling Stone and 13th floor, Marty Duda naming it one of the best nz albums of the year. The track ‘Porcelain God’ was also featured in an episode of the ‘Brokenwood Mysteries’ on TVNZ.
