Hugo Race is a Melbourne based producer, performer and writer. Formerly of The Wreckery and the Bad Seeds, Hugo has forged an international career playing shows from Argentina to the Arctic circle both as a solo artist and as leader of bands like True Spirit, Dirtmusic and Fatalists.

Cosmic Latte began upon a summer’s day in 2020 when two housemates, Lucy Emanuel and Violetta Del Conte-Race, unearthed their dusty keyboards and sang a song. They make abstract yet personal pop songs, with lyrics that draw from subjects such as dreaming of sea creatures and musing on a favourite postcard. The band is made up of 2 keyboards, 2 vocals and pre-recorded sounds with the use of pedals.
