Clear the runway at Howler: prog-disco mothership Honey returns to land a debut EP in 2023, with a huge party to celebrate.
Made of the 'before-times', Honey cut their teeth as 'the' party band of Naarm/Melbourne's inner north - glowing up and beaming out before the Corona-comet struck.
From sold-out Night Cat residencies to lockdown Twitch streams; from party-hour at Golden Plains, to Strawberry Fields - if you've seen Honey, you'd likely remember (the hangover, at least).
With this debut EP, Honey levels-up from a live-party sensation to an un-peggable sonic force spanning nu-disco, rare and global groove, psychedelic trip-hop, sizzlin RnB and acid bass.
Sticking to the original recipe of diverse influences and backgrounds, Honey mixes character, ego, complex and groove to create the 'something-for-everyone' universal live disco experience: Bring your date, your mum, your boss, your pen pal and your nemesis... A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Honey brings aboard some favourites (old and new) for this full venue takeover:
